Is politics in the classroom considered a civil right?
Thursday, January 28th, 2010What’s the difference between the Politics section and the Election section?
Sunday, January 24th, 2010During the election, Politics talks about the election, but so does the Election section. After the election, Politics goes back to regular politics, but so does the Election section.
I don’t get it.
Bonus Question: Why do you prefer hanging out here as opposed to the Politics section?

What is the best way to venture into politics?
Tuesday, January 19th, 2010I am a Republican-conservative(political only) and am interested in getting into politics. I do not want to be Governor or anything, but I do live in a Capital city. Is there anything I can do to volunteer or make an appearance in the political realm? I have no political experience, and am not really qualified to run for any office. I do want to make a difference and have my voice heard.

What are some conversation topics besides weather and politics?
Thursday, January 7th, 2010Weather is a stupid topic that doesn’t go anywhere.
I don’t follow sports and think they are stupid.
Politics is too argumentative and polarized to talk to people about. I will just make enemies of everyone.
I don’t watch TV and am not familiar with current celebrity events or whatever BS.
How else do you start and maintain a conversation?

What are the good reasons to not follow politics?
Thursday, January 7th, 2010I’m a Libertarian and my girlfriend is a neo-conservative. We almost broke up over an argument about the Iraq War. I realized afterwards what a waste of time and energy it is to argue politics, especially when the status quo sucks for almost everyone. Im 26 and I know for a fact that my generation will be making the real changes in a decade or two, so why should I lose sleep over things I cant change? Any thoughts?
